FAQs
What Services do you Offer?
I offer photography services for Portrait, family, Kids, maternity, preschool Photography and Event. Sorry, I don't shoot weddings. All sessions are on-location of your choice. If you have an idea or vision that is not listed here, contact me today and I’d love to hear about what you have in mind!
How do you describe your photography style?
I like to describe my style as authentic and candid, with gentle guidance and direction for portraits and group photos. My goal is to capture the true moments of the day and I want you to be able to enjoy your session/event without being bombarded by a camera in your face. It is important to me to be able to capture your moments without taking anything away from your experience. My sessions are all about relaxed, genuine moments of emotion and connection. I don’t rely too much on posing, but I do provide gentle guidance and direction to get the best photos of your day.
How much time should we schedule for a family photo shoot?
The session lasts for 1 hours. I will keep shooting as long as I’m getting great shots. Kids have about 45 minutes of energy (and patience) for family photos, so the best shots are often gotten right at the start of the session. We can end the session with candid and un-posed photos allows for more relaxed and natural moments, which can often lead to some of the most cherished memories.
Do you offer posed Newborn Sessions?
I don’t do posed newborn sessions. My focus is on capturing what unfolds naturally in front of me. I am absolutely more than happy to include any special mementos, blankets or toys you have for your little one that are important to you and your family.
When is the best time of day to take photos?
The best time to start for lighting is about two hours of before sunset, especially for outdoor sessions, but early mornings are also a good option as early morning light is lovely, kids are typically best mood after a good night's sleep and also if we go to a park it tends to be less busy. Happy kids are definitely the priority over perfect lighting. We will work together to find the best time when your kids are well rested and fed.
Who determines location shoot?
You! Once you contact me about booking your session, we’ll chat about location options. If you want to shoot in your home, that’s awesome. If you want to shoot outdoors, that’s great too.
How early should we book you?
Booking in advance for proper planning is highly recommended.
What all things are included in my package?
Package will include High-resolution digital copies of all the best images with editing and retouching (post-processing work that will be done on the images, which may include color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, sharpening and light retouching).
Can you Photoshop me to make me look a few years younger and a few kilos lighter?
Sorry – but no! I’m all about embracing imperfections and celebrating our bodies as they are. I individually edit each of your photos to correct colour / contrast / exposure, and I will fix minor skin blemishes and marks if you want me to. I cannot change hairstyles, remove tan lines, change the colour of your walls or just generally make things appear different than they actually are! If you would like additional retouching, this would incur an additional hourly charge.
How many images are taken during the shoot or an event?
I don't limit the number of images taken during the shoot and I don't shoot a specific number of images. Each shoot and person will have a different flow which results in more or less than another shoot. Needless to say, there will be a lot of great images from your session.

What kind of camera do you use?
First, let me be clear about this: The camera a photographer uses makes no difference in the quality of the pictures you get. All modern digital cameras produce great images. As long as the camera was made in the last 5 years, the photographer matters more than the camera.
Can we get the raw, unedited files?
I do not offer raw files for several reasons. One of the reason being raw files require post-processing to bring out the best quality in the images. Another reason is my style and artistic vision are reflected in the final edited images. Sharing raw files could lead to the client seeing unfinished or unpolished images that may not accurately represent my brand and expertise. However, rest assured that I take great care in selecting the best shots and editing them professionally to meet or exceed the client's expectations.
Can we request specific shots or poses?
Absolutely! As a photographer, I welcome and encourage clients to request specific shots or poses during our photo sessions. Your input and ideas are essential in creating a personalized and meaningful collection of images that truly reflect your vision and style.
Will I have full ownership to the photos?
Yes, once delivered, you have the rights to do whatever you would like with the photographs. I do, however, ask for credit by name for any businesses that use my work for any public or marketing purposes.
You are expensive than other photographer that we have talked to. Why?
As a professional photographer, I have various expenses that contribute to the overall cost of my services. I could talk about the cost of gear and running a business, taxes, insurance, editing software and so forth. Everyone will do that because has those expenses. The time spent with clients before and after the photo session or event is essential to understand your vision and preferences fully. Additionally, the editing and post-production time invested in crafting each image to its best potential is a significant part of the process.
Since there is no hard and fast rate that photographer have to set themselves at, we're all free to set our own price point. Mine is higher than some but not as high as others. At this time, my pricing is set based on my experience, expertise, and the level of dedication I put into each project.
As a creative professional, discussing the relationship between worth and money can be challenging. However, I want to assure you that my pricing is a reflection of the quality, care, and creativity that I pour into every aspect of my work. I am fully dedicated to capturing the special moments you envision, and I am confident that my rates accurately reflect the value of the experience you will receive.
